Brees is being drafted too high right now. Quarterbacks often disappoint based upon their average draft positions. I expect a full regression from the stellar year Brees had last season. Be wary of taking him high in your draft.
One of my favorite sleeper picks this upcoming season. He showed great upside last season with two different games over 100 yards and a score. Ted Ginn is only getting older, and Smith looks to take the WR2 reigns. All of the defenses are going to be focused on the running game and Michael Thomas, which will give Smith plenty of free runs to get in behind the defense for big plays. I might have said Brees is going to regress, but a regression out of Brees is still a great QB to throw to your WRs.
Cook is one of the tight ends to target out of the elite tier of Ertz, Kelce, and Kittle. This Saints offense is still going to be humming all season, and Cook finds himself in a great position to be a top 5 TE this season.
After a spectacular rookie season, Kamara followed it up with a top-4 fantasy campaign in 2018. Kamara has yet to eclipse 200 carries in a season, but has caught 81 passes in both of his two seasons in the NFL. With Mark Ingram not on the team anymore, Kamara should see more carries, but not by a large increase. Latavius Murray is coming in to fill Ingram’s role, but Kamara will still be the lead back and a top-5 running back.
